Terms of Service

1. Ordering

Orders are placed through our store, operated by Moonbase. A contract is formed when we confirm your order and issue a licence. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may exclude tax, which is added where applicable.

2. Trials

HRF is available as a free trial lasting 28 days from the date of download. The trial is fully featured, requires no payment details, and is for evaluation only. It ends automatically.

3. Cancellation and the right to withdraw

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund.

Because our software is digital content supplied immediately, at checkout you are asked to consent to supply beginning at once and to acknowledge that you thereby lose the 14-day right to withdraw. Once you have downloaded or activated the software, that right no longer applies. If you have not downloaded or activated it, you may withdraw within the 14 days by emailing info@lumusictech.com and we will refund you in full.

Nothing here limits your statutory rights where software is faulty or not as described. Contact us and we will put it right, replace it or refund it.

4. Rent-to-Own

Rent-to-Own is billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments made count towards the perpetual licence price. Cancelling ends access to the software; resuming payments restores your accrued position.

5. Discounts

Educational discounts are available to students and staff of recognised institutions, on verification. Community-feedback discounts are offered at our discretion to users who have provided substantive feedback. Discounts cannot be combined unless we say otherwise.

6. Acceptable use of this site

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, circumvent security, scrape it at volume, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site, and the software, remain the property of Lú Music Technology Limited or its licensors. HRF is patent pending. Nothing on this site transfers any right beyond the licence set out in the EULA.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site and download services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and third-party outages can interrupt service.

9. Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction. Consumers may also rely on the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
